A good rule of thumb is to perform no more than 200 push-ups or sit-ups and no more than 50 pull-ups in a single day, and no more than 1000 push-ups or sit- ups and no more than 250 pull-ups in a week.
How many pushups can a soldier do?
Male recruits ages 17 to 21 have to do 42 push-ups, 53 sit-ups and a two-mile run in 15 minutes and 54 seconds or less. Women in the same age group have to complete 19 push-ups, 53 sit-ups and two miles of running in 18 minutes and 54 seconds or less.
Can you go straight into Green Berets?
You can qualify for assignment to the Green Berets straight from basic training. If you’re an enlisted soldier who’d like to become a Green Beret, though, you must: Have a pay grade of at least E-3. Be able to get a secret clearance.

Can you do 1000 pushups in a day?
It’s possible to complete 1,000 push-ups in 31 days as Itzler did, but that doesn’t need to be your goal. Your end date is something you can change, of course, depending on how your body responds.
What will 200 pushups a day do?
Doing a hundred pushups or two hundred pushups a day will make you look slimmer with more definition and better posture. You will have a much more muscular build, but you will look more like a swimmer than a bodybuilder.
